Kruger National Park is one of the most famous wildlife reserves in the world. Lying at the southern end of the park, near the border with Mozambique, is an area called Lebombo one of the most pristine places in Africa. Cut in half the Lebombo mountain chain and braided rivers N’wanetsi and Sweni, the land gives life to the largest group of animals on the African continent.

While hiking or on a morning or night safari jeep, you can meet elephants, giraffes and zebras, antelopes, hippos and white rhinos. Such a wealth of animals attracts big cats: lions, cheetahs and leopards, and hyenas. In the thickets lurk crocodiles, and unnoticed by predators, small mammals flit by. Singita Sweni
