Vineyards, Victoria Falls and the Big Five of Africa – South Africa, Zimbabwe & Zambia w 14 days
Day 1. Cape Town – Franschhoek
After arrival to Cape Town guests will be welcomed by a representative of our travel agency and transferred to the magnificent Franschhoek Wine Valley. Guests will spend 2 nights at La Residence on a bed & breakfast basis (price includes local drinks, snacks, local transfers to the town of Franschhoek).

Day 2. Franschhoek
Today guests will take part in a full day trip to chosen vineyards connected with wine tasting and a chance to taste Cap Classiques (South African champagnes). The tour includes the regions major wine producing areas including Stellenbosch, one of the oldest towns in South Africa, Simonsberg, Paarl, and Franschhoek. Lunch will be served at one of the many classic restaurants in the area. After lunch further sightseeing and shopping – Franschhoek and Stellenboch offer a wide range of art galleries.

Day 3. Franschhoek Cape Town
A private full day Cape Peninsula Tour. It will start with visiting Cape Towns most beautiful coastal suburbs of Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton Bakoven, and Llandudno. Guests will also stop for a moment in the fishing village of Hout Bay. On the coast, they will see the biggest seal colony. Next, they will drive along Chapmans Peak Drive, one of Africas most outstanding roads. Whales can be seen here just offshore from June to November!

The Cape of Good Hope will also provide numerous attractions such as an outstanding rocky coast, unique vegetation and extraordinary fauna with many species found only in South Africa. After reaching the famous Cape Point Lighthouse, guests will capture the magical vistas of False Bay. Next, they will have lunch and go to the Boulders Beach to observe a colony of African penguins. Guests will also visit the Constantia Winelands before proceeding to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for a tour. Next, they will go to the headquarters of South African Navy in Simons Town and have the opportunity to watch fishing cutters docking at the busy harbour
of Kalk Bay. In the towns of St. James and Muizenberg guests will admire breathtaking vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. After the experience guests will be dropped off at the Cape Grace, where they will spend 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 4. Cape Town
A private half-day tour of the city with visiting Table Mountain (weather permitting). Table Mountain was officially named one of the New 7 wonders of Nature in December 2012. After returning to the city, guests will have lunch and then they will explore the District Six Museum, Company Gardens and SA Museum (entrance fees together with tickets to Table Mountain included in the price of Royal Safari). Next, they will walk in the Greenmarket Square, where unique souvenirs made by local craftsmen can be bought, and visit the Castle of Good Hope, South Africas oldest building with a remarkable collection of paintings. Afterwards, they will go to Robben Island located 11 kilometres from Cape Town in Table Bay. This World Heritage Site, and South Africas most revered national monument used to be a prison for, at various times, convicts, slaves, exiled Eastern princes, lepers, the insane and those punished for resisting oppressive rule including Nelson Mandela. The tour, led by Thulani Mabaso, the former prisoner, will be even more emotional. On the island, there is also a nature reserve for penguins and other species of birds.

Day 5. – 9. Cape Town Kruger National Park
Today, guests will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport and fly to Kruger National Park. Guests will be accommodated in Savanna Private Game Reserve, a luxury lodge, where they will spend 4 nights (luxurious All-Inclusive package included). We recommend two open Land Rover safaris per day or walks to the bush.

Day 9. 10. Kruger National Park – Johannesburg
Transfer by Federal Air shuttle from the Sabi Sands to Johannesburg. Guests will be met on arrival by the representative of our travel agency who will take care of their luggage. Next, guests will have a pleasant drive through Johannesburg and Soweto. On their way, they will visit the residential neighbourhoods of Hillbrow and Braamfontein, Constitutional Court of South Africa building, the business district, and the 50th floor of Carlton Centre from where there will admire beautiful views of the city. In Soweto, they will see the citys most important sights such as Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital, Walter Sisulu Square, Hector Pieterson Memorial, and Nelson Mandelas house. Guests will be accommodated in luxurious Da Vinci Hotel & Suites for one night (breakfast included).

Day 10. – 12. Johannesburg (South Africa) Chobe (Botswana)
Private transfer from Da Vinci Hotel to OR Tambo International Airport from where they will fly to Victoria Falls Airport. Meet, greet and transfer by road from the airport to Kasane (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). From Kasane, guests will travel to Ngoma Safari Lodge, where they will spend 2 nights on a luxury all-inclusive basis. Our guests are invited to take part in numerous activities such as morning walks or drives, one full day safari, night safaris and hikes in the bush.

Day 12. 14. Chobe (Botswana) Victoria Falls (Zimabwe) / Zambezi National Park (Zambia)
After arriving at the airport in Kasane, guests will travel to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Guests will spend 2 nights in the picturesque scenery of the lodge
(breakfasts and Boma Dinners included in the price of Royal Safari). The lodge is situated on a plateau which creates a natural border with Zambezi National Park in Zambia, 4 kilometres from the famous falls. Truly African ambience fills the interiors of the lodges luxurious houses, whereas the hotel prides itself on its hospitality, food and uninterrupted views. Guests will be able to observe many species of animals such as elephants or buffalos. During their stay, guests will go on a private trip to the Victoria Falls, visit the most important places such as David Livingstones Statue and the Devils Cataract, and walk through the rain forest to Danger Point. They will take part in a magical sunset cruise on the Zambezi River and visit a village situated nearby.

Day 14. Victoria Falls
After breakfast, guests will be transferred from Victoria Falls Safari Lodge to Victoria Falls Airport for a flight to Johannesburg and from there they will fly back to Europe.

The price of the programme depends on the number of participants, the date of the journey and the availability of hotels.
