GREAT ADVENTURE IN NEW ZEALAND

Day 1. Arrival in Auckland
Upon arrival at the international airport in Auckland, you will be welcomed by a representative of the local office, which will provide all the vouchers and organize a ride to your chosen hotel (we suggest the Hilton, King Corner Room B).

Auckland City – the “city of sails” – has a reputation as one of the most friendly for residents and visitors in the world. It is beautifully situated next to the port of Waitemata, which in Maori means “sparkling water”. You are also nearby a marine reserve and gorgeous beaches. As the largest city of New Zealand, Auckland is an interesting cultural and ethnic mix manifested in the atmosphere of the city and the richness of the local cuisine.

We suggest visiting:

  • Auckland museum with a beautiful collection of Maori art and the presentation live,
  • Art Gallery Auckland Art Gallery and The New Gallery,
  • Maritime Museum, combined with dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area to Viaduct Basin,
  • Sky Tower, which offers unforgettable views of the entire city and the bay.
  • center for Antarctic and the underwater world at Kelly Tarlton’s Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World,

and

  • climbing on the Auckland Harbour Bridge Bridgelub and bungee jump from the bridge,
  • shopping in the historic district Parnell
  • cruise the waters of Waitemata harbor on board the yachts NZL40 and NZL41 both of which participated in the America’s Cup,
  • voyage to Devonport – a charming village on the shores of the ocean known for its beautiful coastline.

Day 2. Auckland – Bay of Islands
Morning drive a car with a driver to the north, into the Bay of Islands (the journey takes approximately 4 hours).

The Bay of Islands is more than 140 islands that make up the beautiful mosaic on the clear waters of the Pacific Ocean. Here you can watch the lives of many species of animals and seabirds. You will be staying for three nights at The Cavalli Beach House Retreat Resort. The price includes dinner the first day, and breakfast the second and third.

Day 3 Bay of Islands
On this day, we offer the following attractions:

  • cruise on the Cape Brett and sail through the famous “hole in the rock”
  • a visit to Russell, one of the oldest settlements founded by white colonists.
  • visiting the Waitangi Treaty House, where in 1840 a treaty was signed between the British Crown and Maori tribes living in New Zealand,
  • the game of golf at the Waitangi Links,
  • scenic flight or a day trip to the Cape Reinga, which is the northernmost tip of New Zealand,
  • cruise around the bay, where you can watch dolphins,
  • sightseeing Pompallier House in 1842 – a historic printing house built in colonial times by the French, which the printed books for the local Catholic mission.
  • sightseeing Kemp Mission House – one of the oldest buildings from the colonial era (1822)
  • fishing trip,
  • kiteboarding,
  • kayaking,
  • Diving in the Marine Reserve Poor Knights Marine Reserve.

Day 4. Bay of Islands
The whole day is devoted to active recreation, you can use the above-mentioned proposal.

Day 5. Bay of Islands – Rotorua
After breakfast you will be transported to the airport in Kerikeri and national lines venturing into the town of Rotorua (cost of the ticket is not included in the tour price). After arriving in Rotorua you will be transported to the hotel: The Springs, where you will spend two nights in a standard room (with breakfast).

Rotorua – Maori cultural center, a city surrounded by misty lakes and geysers, is a place where you can observe powerful forces of nature referred to in the Maori language as“Manakitanga”. ‘

Day 6. Rotorua
The whole day is devoted to active recreation. We have prepared a lot of interesting proposals to spend time:

  • visiting the institute devoted to the art and craft of Maori and Te Puia geysers Thermal Reserve,
  • Agrodome Farm Show,
  • a trip to the unique scale Rainbow Springs National Park, where you can see many species of plants and animals.
  • visit the museum of art and history Rotorua,
  • picnic on the shores of lakes Green and Blue,
  • a visit to the Polynesian Spa,
  • a visit to the reserve, thermal and spa – Hell’s Gate (Tikitere)
  • a trip to the volcano buried village of Te Wairoa,
  • a helicopter flight over the summit of Mt. Tarawera and White Island,
  • zorbing,
  • watching the geysers in the reserve Waiotapu,
  • playing golf at Wairakei,
  • excursion to Lake Taupo, the largest in New Zealand, famous for its large number of trout.

Day 7. Rotorua – Hawke’s Bay
Departure by car to Hawke’s Bay (the journey takes approximately 3 hours).

Hawke’s Bay farming region in New Zealand is famous for its viticulture. It has a climate similar to the Mediterranean or California, so that wine produced here from various strains are acclaimed throughout the world. Guests will stay at the hotel Greenhill the Lodge, in a standard room. Breakfast and dinner are provided.

Day 8. Hawke’s Bay
For the day’s activities. We offer the following attractions:

  • visiting vineyards, including Mission in the vineyard, which was created by the Catholic missionaries to produce altar wine,
  • visiting the town of Napier, the whole center was built in an elegant art deco style,
  • tour of New Zealand Scott Ormond art Gallery
  • a trip to the famous top of Te Mata Peak with beautiful views,
  • a trip to the colonies of seabirds – gannets living at Cape Kidnappers,
  • visit the Hawke’s Bay museum,
  • golf at Cape Kidnappers, on the golf course counted among the 30 best in the world,
  • relaxing on the beach Waimarama and Ocean Beach.

Day 9 Hawke’s Bay – Christchurch and Waipara Gorge
After breakfast you will be transported to the airport in Napier, from national airlines fly to Christchurch (cost of the ticket is not included in the tour price). Upon arrival in Christchurch you will be transported through the Waipara ravine, to Hotel Claremont Country Estate (the journey takes approximately 40 minutes), where you will spend two nights in a deluxe room. Dinner and breakfast will be provided.

Claremont is an extensive property (over 600 hectares), on which are bred sheep and fallow deer. The hotel is located in the beautiful Waipara ravine , ideal for hiking. The real treat is the limestone rock lookout known as the Bishop’s head, which can be seen only from Claremont.

Day 10. Waipara Gorge
Day to stay on the property Claremont. You can take a tour of walking trails located in the area of ​​vineyards.

Waipara Gorge Day 11. – Mount Cook
After breakfast, drive to Mount Cook (the journey takes approximately 5 hours).

Mount Cook in Maori language known as Aoraki, is the highest peak in New Zealand. It is located in parts of the country considered to be one of the most beautiful, which is a national park. Glaciers occupy More than one third of the park.

Guests will be staying at The Heritage, in a standard room with breakfast and dinner.

Day 12. Mount Cook – Wanaka
We offer the following possibilities for your time:

  • scenic flight in a light aircraft or helicopter over the top of Mount Cook and other peaks belonging to the Southern Alps,
  • trekking in the National Park.
  • excursion boats on the Tasman Glacier.
  • Jeep tour through the national park.

In the afternoon trip to Lake Wanaka (the journey takes approximately 2 hours).

Wanaka – is the fourth largest lake in New Zealand, surrounded by the peaks of the Southern Alps. The area offers many opportunities for active recreation in a beautiful setting.

Accommodation is planned at the River Run Lodge, a standard room with breakfast.

Day 13. Wanaka – Queenstown
We suggest using the following attractions:

  • walking tour of Mount Aspiring National Park,
  • The Siberia Experience – an extraordinary expedition which is a combination observation flight, cruise boat and walking tours,
  • cruise boat on the river Wilkin River,
  • riding mountain trails.
  • fishing for trout and salmon in the lakes Wanaka and Hawea.
  • visit the museum of military aviation,
  • practicing extreme sports: paragliding, skydiving, rafting, canoeing, rock climbing, mountain biking expeditions.

In the afternoon trip to Queenstown (the journey takes approximately 1 hour).

The town of Queenstown, called the Adventure Capital because it provides a wide selection of leisure activities, lies on Lake Wakatipu and surrounded by the mountains of the Southern Alps. In winter a mecca for skiers and snowboarders from New Zealand and Australia, adventurers come here in the summer for some of the most extreme experiences in the world. Bungee jumping was invented here!

Around Queenstown extend national parks, in which there are stunning fjords and glaciers, an abandoned mining town from the gold rush period and beautiful landscapes, on which were filmed the movies: “The Lord of the Rings”. You can take a helicopter flight over the fascinating surroundings, try rafting, golfing or exploring the beautiful vineyards producing wines with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes.

Accommodation for two nights in the Millbrook Resort Villa Suite with breakfast.

14. Day trip to Milford Sound
After breakfast scheduled flight to the most beautiful fjord – Milford Sound. An aerial view which can fully appreciate the unique beauty of New Zealand landscapes.

After landing – embarking on a special unit. From the deck, you will enjoy the sharp fjord walls, waterfalls in the background high at over 1,000 m. peaks. During the trip, lunch will be served.

Back to Queenstown approximately 2:00 pm.

Here are suggestions for the afternoon:

  • relax in the excellent spa Body Sanctum,
  • speedboat cruise on the river Shotover,
  • boat trip on the River Dart,
  • Entry gondola to the top of Bob’s Peak,
  • cruise steamer TSS “Earnslaw”
  • visits to local vineyards: Amisfield, Chard Farm, Peregrine Wines, Lake Hayes, and Gibbston Vineyards
  • explore the historic town of Arrowtown from the gold rush period,
  • playing golf at Millbrook Resort fields or Kelvin Heights,
  • balloon flight,
  • Horseback riding in the hills,
  • day trip to the fjords of Milford Sound or Doubtful Sound located in Fiordland National Park,
  • day bicycle trip to the National Park Routeburn,
  • watching open air, in which filmed the movie “The Lord of the Rings”
  • practicing extreme sports: bungee jumping, sky diving, white water rafting, rock climbing and many others.

Day 15. Departure from Queenstown
After breakfast leave for the airport, before flying return the rental car.
