Apparently, each man has something of a little boy or a hunter. If you believe this opinion, which one of them at least once in my life have I wanted to play the film character Indiana Jones, treasure hunter, or go on the high seas chase after a powerful fish, which I could be proud of for years. For all eager for great adventures, as well as for those seeking relaxation through direct contact with nature, I suggest a trip to Africa. It is a place where a man can work in many situations.

As I personally am fascinated air sports, I suggest you explore the beauty of the southern African by small plane, helicopter or balloon. Flying is a unique opportunity to “take the world on its shoulders.” When summer at low altitude, one is not isolated from life on earth, on the contrary – it is easier then to understand the miracle of creation, watching from a bird’s eye view the amused flock of dolphins or whales.

Safari helicopter is an ultra comfortable option for people for whom independence is a priority. It is you who will decide where to stop for a picnic, at which point descend to greet the natives or to feast your eyes on running herds of wild animals. You will float above the historical fields of battles between the British, Berami and Zulus or Soutpan (north of Johannesburg) having a look to one of the largest in Africa meteorite craters. You will land on the edge of the cool, clear river and look for gold or try to catch a water trout as they pop up.

We strongly urge you also to take a multi-day safari Cesna 210 plane along the Skeleton Coast of Namibia. It begins south of the Orange River, runs through the entire Namibian coast, crosses rzek’ Kunene and ends up in Angola, 200 km. from the border between the two countries. During this exciting trip you’ll see m. Al. Sossusvlei, in the Namibijskiego National Park – Naukluft, the world’s highest sand dunes the color red (their tops reach 300 m.).

Here you can try climbing. Many experiences will be provided to you, probably fly over Cape Cross – a colony of seals and penguins – and to the formation of Ugab called “Land of the Moon”. Skeleton Coast is famous for its large number of well-preserved shipwrecks, thrown there by the waves of the sea on dry land. At Terrace Bay you will have the opportunity to see the two most important of them – the Montrose and Henrietta. In the north Skeleton Coast Park, Kaokoland you must visit the local village of nomads – the Himba tribe. Meeting with these remarkable human beings will remain a lasting memory of every traveler.

The ideal country in the ballooning is Botswana. When flying, you will be able to admire one of the most breathtaking contrasts of nature on earth – encounter scorched Kalahari Desert Delta waters Okovango. The widest river delta in the world is 15,000 square kilometers of water a miracle of nature. Fish, birds, hippos, crocodiles coexist here with their herds of zebras, buffaloes, elephants and lions. A very good way to get better knowledge of the flora and fauna of the Delta waters is a trip in a mokoro (kind of canoe) accompanied by a licensed guide.

Of course there are great opportunities for viewing wildlife offered in South Africa and its famous Kruger National Park. Founded in 1898, Kruger National Park covers 2 million hectares of land. It boasts not only an impressive number of animals and birds living there, charming scenery of the African landscape, but also the right choice of accommodation. Particularly noteworthy are some of the private animal reserves, located within the Kruger National Park or in its immediate vicinity. Mala Mala, Singita, Sabi Sabi Private reserves are names that I would highly recommend to seasoned and demanding travelers. There are excellent conditions to observe the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino). Beautiful holiday hunting in these camps offer the best kitchen, front drinks and high-end spas.

For lovers of the great fish experience that will not forget for the rest of your life, you may spend a few days in Pemba Channel Fishing Club, on the border of Tanzania and Kenya. The club is widely known not only as the best place to fish in Kenya, but probably the best place in this area in the whole of Africa! PChFC enjoys a worldwide reputation as a champion in fishing for whiting and occupies a prominent place in all the statistics! The club is known for fish lovers in the dictionary as “a paradise for fishermen”, mainly because of its location – in the Indian Ocean, 80 km. south of Mombasa, in the vicinity of the island Wasini.

Fans of extreme sports should try a paragliding flight on the border between South Africa and Zambia, just above the fabulous Victoria waterfalls, and connoisseurs of wine and brandy to go through the famous Garden Route (Cape Town-George) in South Africa.
