ROYAL INDIA, NEW DELHI TO BOMBAI – 18 DAYS

Day 1. Delhi
Early morning arrival in Delhi. At the airport a private guide and driver will greet you with flowers. Transportation to Taj Palace, an excellent hotel in the city center. After breakfast and a short rest, set off to explore the Indian capital. Visiting the old town and the impressive Red Fort from the Mughal era. Then visit the Raj Ghat, where the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi – the most important figure of modern India – and where his body was cremated in 1948. It is worth it to take a ride in a rickshaw (tuk-tuk) through the narrow streets of the old town. Contrary to appearances, it is an extreme experience – feel it, passing other vehicles at a distance of 15 cm. The last point of interest exploring the old city will be the largest mosque in India – Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), which can accommodate up to 25,000 people. In the evening we invite you to a screening of “light and sound” to the Red Fort.

Day 2. Delhi
After breakfast, drive to the ruins Ferozabad and Siri, where you will see the temples and minarets from up to the twelfth century. You also will visit Hauz Khas district, which is a great place to shop – there are many galleries, shops and gourmet restaurants.

Day 3. New Delhi
Another day exploring an unusual city in which lives much of the population, which is in the middle of the country! Today it is a new part of Delhi Presidential Palace, India Gate and Parliament. Also a visit the National Museum, showing the great cultural and historical cross-section of the entire South Asia. Volunteers will be able to see the museum of Tibet. In the afternoon stroll through the gardens Lodich and a visit to Humayun’s mausoleum, which was the prototype of the Taj Mahal.

Day 4. New Delhi
Continue exploring a new part of Delhi; The Gallery of Modern Art, Connaught Place – one of the busiest places in the city where meet all its major streets meet. Delhi is a city of many religions, and a visit to many mosques, Sikh, Hindu and Buddhist temples will be a main attraction. All of these cultures and religions – so different from each other – have coexisted here for centuries without major conflicts. In the evening we invite you to a performance at the prestigious Delhi Kamani Auditorium to enjoy drama, music, dance and singing on stage.

Day 5. New Delhi
After breakfast, transportation in a private car with a driver from Delhi to Agra. After reaching the city you will have accommodation in a luxury 5-star hotel in a suite with a view of the Taj Mahal. In the afternoon we have prepared for you a visit to the most famous place in India – Taj Mahal, which is called the temple of love and counted among the seven wonders of the world. In the evening a fantastic dinner by candlelight with a view of the Taj Mahal awaits you.

Day 6. New Delhi – Jaipur
After breakfast visit the fort of Agra, which is even more impressive than the fort in Delhi. After sightseeing, transportation by a private driver to Jaipur – the Pink City. Check in to the Hotel Rambagh Palace, where everyone is greeted like a real maharaja! This is a beautiful palace, which features amazing decor. This day is devoted to rest, and in the evening enjoy a dance show and dinner at the hotel.

Day 7. Jaipur
Wake up in the morning to exploring the city and its most important monuments: the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds and the astronomical observatory of the seventeenth century – with a sundial with a height of almost 30 meters. Jaipur is also the perfect place to shop – you should purchase a beautiful piece of jewelry made with Indian minerals and gemstones, elegant wooden figures of different gods. The alternative is to watch an elephant polo match.

Day 8. Jaipur
On this day a planned tour of one of the most famous forts in India – Amber Fort in Jaipur. It is a masterpiece of architecture, it is approximately 11 km. long and it is very impressive. There is the option to enter the fort on beautifully decorated elephants. In the evening, enjoy a treatment at the hotel’s outstanding spa.

Day 9. Jaipur
Visiting Sanganer village, located near Jaipur with many temples, inter alia Krishna. It is also the capital of the paintings of natural paints, paper products and ceramics.

Day 10. – 12. Jodhpur
Morning drive to Dżodhpuru – the Blue City, located on the border between the state and the Thar Desert. There are charming old houses and buildings in blue, which are very impressive. In the evening, free time in the hotel Umaid Bhawan Palace. In the following days continuation of exploration of the city. In the evening and in the morning, the hotel serves many attractions prepared for the guests, including wonderful massages and treatments in the spa as well as yoga and playing polo.

Day 13. of Rajasthan – Udaipur
After breakfast, drive through picturesque areas of Rajasthan to the city of lakes – Udajpuru. It is one of the most charming cities in India A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in one of the most unusual hotels in the world – the Taj Lake Palace situated in the middle of the lake!

Day 14 – 15. Udaipur
After breakfast, you will begin a two-day tour of the beautiful Udajpuru. The main point is the City Palace, now an impressive museum, but also a car museum, where most of the exhibits belonged to the Maharajas of Udajpuru. In the evening, we invite you on a boat trip on Lake Pichola and dinner on the lake with breathtaking views of the city. On the second evening, we recommend you have an unusual experience – SPA treatments on a boat and a dance performance in the courtyard of the hotel.

Day 16 – 17. Bombay
After breakfast, a private driver will take you to the airport for the flight to Mumbai. We invite you to explore the many sights of the city, especially the temple of Laxmi, the Gateway of India, the beautiful building of the main railway station, the Flora Fountain and many other great places. You can stroll around the streets of the old Mumbai – observing the oldest stalls and the Cathedral. It is also an excellent hub for shopping. Overnight at the Taj Mahal Palace.

Day 18. Bombay
After breakfast and checking out the company private driver will take you to the airport in Mumbai on a scheduled flight back to Poland.
