NAADAM FESTIVAL, ULAAN BATOR – MOSCOW, 13 DAYS/12 nights

If you want to experience the unique culture of Mongolia you should take part in the Festival Supersonic. The word “supersonic” means “three men’s games” and the festival is known as one of the oldest festivals – contests in the world. It consists of three disciplines: archery, wrestling and horse riding. It takes place in the capital of Mongolia – Ulan Bator during the national holiday from 11 to 13 of July.

The festival also commemorates the revolution of 1921, when Mongolia became a free country. In smaller villages in Mongolia they are also held festivals supersonic, but on a smaller scale. You have the unique opportunity to experience this wonderful festival and luxury train travel.

Day 1. Ulaan Baatar
Welcome at the airport and transportation to the hotel for a gala dinner and three nights. Free time for independent exploring the capital of Mongolia.

Day 2. Ulaan Baatar
The opening ceremony of the festival Naadam. This day is an official public holiday. It takes place when the opening ceremony, archery and horse racing over a distance of 33 km.

Day 3. Ulaan Baatar
The first half of the day will take wrestling competitions and closing ceremony. In the afternoon excursion to Ganden monastery and the National Museum.

Day 4. Ulaan Baatar
Today we will ride to the train station and start the trip by train on the Golden Eagle Trans – Siberian Express.

Day 5. Ulan Ude
Morning arrival in Ulan Ude, the capital of the Republic of Burłackiej. Visiting a local Buddhist temple, then ride a bus to the village of followers of the old faith. The day will finish with a performance by local dancers and musicians.

Day 6. Lake Baikal
Coming through numerous tunnels and skirting cliffs, the train reaches the coastline’s deepest lake in the world – Lake Baikal. Intended stop in one of the bays of the lake (weather permitting) on ​​the banks will be organized a barbecue. Next on the agenda is a visit to the small village Listvyanka adjacent to the surrounding hills. Back on the train.

Day 7. Irkutsk
Morning arrival in Irkutsk, a city known as the “Paris of Siberia”, characteristic for Siberian wooden architecture. Visit the main attractions and museums. Afternoon free. Dinner on the train.

Day 8. On the train
The train goes by pretty mountains Sajan, passing Novokuznetsk and Abakan. For volunteers Russian language lessons.

Day 9. Novosibirsk
The train will stop in this city, and passengers will be invited to watch the famous Opera House, Lenin Square and River Ob, whose length is over 5,600 km, from the same source to the Arctic.

Day 10. Yekaterinburg
The last city in Asia, on the border between the continents, the capital of the Urals – Yekaterinburg – a place of exile and execution Czarist Romanov family. We cross the border from Asia to Europe.

Day 11. Kazan
Last day on the train. Passing through Kazan, a historic city located on the river Volga.

Day 12. Moscow
Morning arrival to Moscow. Full day city tour, including Red Square and the Kremlin. Transfer to a five-star Marriott Royal Aurora, where you will have a farewell gala dinner, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 13 Moscow
After breakfast, free time. In the afternoon, transportation to the airport and flight to your country.
