MOSCOW – VLADIVOSTOK

Route: Moscow – Saint Petersburg – Yekaterinburg – Novosibirsk – Irkutsk – Lake Baikal – Ulan-Ude – Vladivostok

Day 1. Moscow
The welcome at the international airport in Moscow, then transportation to a five-star Baltschug Kempinski hotel opposite the Kremlin and Red Square. Welcome dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2. Moscow
Full day city tour. In the evening, drive to the station and start the trip a private train Trans-Siberian Express.

Day 3. Suzdal
The pastoral town of Suzdal is one of Russia’s most perfectly preserved walled cities dating back to 1024 and is located 22 miles (35 kilometres) from Vladimir. Here we visit the atmospheric St. Euthymius Monastery to witness an enchanting choral performance by the resident monks.

Day 4. Yekaterinburg
The city is the capital of the Urals, separates Europe from Asia. The program exploring the place of execution Czarist Romanov family and the Museum of Minerals Urals.

Day 5. Novosibirsk
The train will stop in this city, and passengers will be invited to watch the famous Opera House, Lenin Square and River Ob, whose length is over 5,600 km, from the same source to the Arctic.

Day 6. On the train
Time can be spent on reading or interesting conversations with other travelers. A dining car with a bar opens its door, where a glass of cognac is offered, you can make friends and enjoy the passing scenery. Relax and rest in between.

Day 7. Irkutsk
Morning arrival in Irkutsk, a city known as the “Paris of Siberia”. Tour local museums, getting to know the local culture and classic wooden architecture.

Day 8. Lake Baikal
Coming through numerous tunnels and skirting cliffs train reaches the shoreline of the largest lake in the world – Lake Baikal. Intended stop in one of the bays of the lake. Over the same
the banks will be organized barbecue. For adventurers the opportunity to swim in the lake, it should be remembered that even in summer the water temperature does not exceed 10 degrees Celsius. Next on the agenda is a visit to the small village Listvyanka, adjacent to the surrounding hills. Return to the train for dinner and departure on its way.

Day 9. Ulan Ude
Morning arrival in Ulan Ude, the capital of the Republic of Burłackiej. Visiting a local Buddhist temple, then ride a bus to the village of Old Believers Faith. The day will finish with a performance by local dancers and musicians.

Day 10. Ulaan-Baatar
Trans-Siberian adventure takes us into Mongolia and a visit to its capital, Ulaan Baatar. Mongolia, once the very centre of an enormous empire led by Genghis Khan, is a country of beautiful landscapes, nomadic people and rich in culture and history. Mongolia is famous for its endless green Steppes, grazing livestock and white, nomadic Gers (Yurts) dotted all across the countryside.

We start the tour at Gandan Monastery, one of Mongolia’s most important Buddhist Monasteries housing a community of over 500 monks. The full name, Gandantegchinlen, translates as ‘the great place of complete joy’. At Chinggis Square (formerly Sukhbaatar Square) we can see the central monument to Genghis Khan, undoubtedly the most feared and revered Mongol, and visit the National Museum where we learn about the country’s intriguing history.

We also have the opportunity to visit a traditional Ger and meet a nomadic family.

Day 11-12. On the train
Driving along the Chinese border, we pass Szilkę and the Amur River. Siberia with its unimaginable distances greets passengers of the train in its full glory and grandeur. This seemingly inhospitable to humans land of eternal frost is very generous to occurring here flora and fauna.

Day 13. On the train
The last day of train travel Trans-Siberian Coffee is in the direction of Khabarovsk. It is the most easterly point on the map of Russia. Toll bridge across the Amur River, the last dinner on the train.

Day 14. Vladivostok
Morning arrival in Vladivostok and the end of the train path. Visiting this hitherto closed to tourists the city, with particular emphasis on its military activities. Travel and accommodation at the Hotel Hyundai and farewell dinner.

Day 15. Vladivostok
Breakfast at hotel, then transportation to the airport and return to the Poland.
