Chiang Rai – Chiang Saen – Golden Triangle – Chiang Saen – Chiang Rai

Located in the heart of the Golden Triangle camp is an oasis of luxury lost in an exotic bamboo forest in the most remote regions of northern Thailand. On the border of Thailand, Laos and Burma, you will experience a unique adventure sailing the Mekong river and catching fish in it, riding on elephants and learning how to take care of these powerful animals, as well as enjoying the invigorating power of Thai massage.

This trip features warm campfires and unique tastes of exquisite dishes, drinks at sunset, looking into the starry night sky and luxuriously equipped tents. This unique experience combines of atmosphere of the camp and sophisticated luxury.

Day 1. Arrival in Chiang Rai – Chiang Saen
Upon arrival at the camp dock Four Seasons guests sail on a traditional long boat to the camp consisting of luxury tents. There, they will be served afternoon tea, and later will visit the camp or go for a walk with a naturalist to observe the wildlife of northern Thailand.

Lunch will be served on the banks of the river in Nong Yao Restaurant, featuring an open thatched pavilion with simple hardwood floors. Nong Yao Restaurant serves Thai, Laotian, Burmese and Western style dishes.

Guests will be able to dine, sitting together on padded suede chairs at a long table, or individually at separate tables. The restaurant has a bar in the middle of which is a double-sided fireplace, where you can relax and enjoy a drink.

In the evening, according to a real camp tradition, the cessation of all activities to guests, calmly sipping a drink and admire the sunset crowning another day spent in the Golden Triangle. Guests can contemplate their adventure, be it traversing the jungle on elephant back, sailing the river. During this rest in the camp for 30 minutes you will enjoy the tranquility and observe the golden color of the sky, sipping drinks and savoring the local or western snacks. Night at the camp the Four Seasons.

Day 2. Four Seasons Camp – meeting with elephants
In the morning guests will be served drinks, then meet with professional elephant trainers, who will explain how to take care of these powerful animals and how to manage them. After the show, guests will be able to dine and spend the rest of the morning, resting before the bar Burma will serve lunch.

The organizers propose relaxing at the pool or fishing tours with a guide. In the afternoon, it is scheduled to ride on elephants, where you have the opportunity to use skills learned in the morning. Then the expedition rests in the jungle or in the bar Burma. Tea and traditional drinks served at sunset.

A five-course celebratory dinner will be served by fire-lit torches at the camp of elephants. In the style of a real safari tables stand in a semicircle around the fire. After dinner, guests can rest by the fire, sipping drinks and enjoying the starry sky. They spend the night in the camp of the Four Seasons.

Day 3. Camp Four Seasons
In the morning, guests will go to Nong Yao Restaurant for breakfast. Then venture onto the Mekong river cruise. Along the way, they stop in the coastal villages and temples to explore the daily life of the inhabitants. During a peaceful cruise down the river guests will be served lunch.

You can spend the afternoon taking part in a photographic journey or craft lessons.

After the afternoon tea’s sleep away, surrendering to a relaxing massage at the Four Seasons Spa camp. And try the treatments which can work wonders, rejuvenating the body and restoring spiritual peace. In the bamboo forest, the fresh air, there are two treatment rooms, spa beds and baths and showers. Rustic decor and natural materials used for design intend to make room spa treatments merge with the surrounding nature. In these simple, but at the same time luxurious surroundings, guests will be able to enjoy a traditional Thai massage assisted by the healing properties of mountain plants and warming herbs.

Lunch will be served in a prominent bar of Myanmar elephant camp, a thatched open pavilion overlooking the river Ruak and Burma. The bar is decorated with elements of the travel and navigation equipment – maps, books, monuments from the surrounding villages and binoculars mounted on a tripod. It is equipped with comfortable leather sofas where guests can relax and read a book. The ruling in the cozy atmosphere make the bar Burma perfect place to ponder for a moment and enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding nature.

After spending an evening at the bar retiring for the night to a nearby elephant camp the Four Seasons.

Day 4. Camp Four Seasons – departure from Chiang Rai
In the morning you will be awakened and will go for breakfast in the restaurant Nong Yao. You will then be taken to Chiang Rai Airport and will fly to Bangkok.

Note: Children under 16 years of age, unfortunately, can not take part in this trip.

In the price are included three nights in a luxury tent, full board, which includes these meals, drinks, wines and spirits, travel to the camp and to the airport, all listed in the plan of activities and one spa treatment per person per stay.

In price are not included meals and services other than those mentioned, expenses of a personal nature (including medical care and additional spa treatments), as well as tickets for the flight connections from Bangkok – Chiang Rai – Bangkok including taxes.
