Hotel Esencia is a majestic 50-acre estate at the midpoint between Tulum and Playa del Carmen in Mexico. Restaurants and bars: The casual poolside restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and small plates throughout the day in a relaxed shaded pavilion. Open for dinner, the Garden Restaurant is set in an open-air area with views of the magnificent gardens. The menu is inspired by regional cuisines with a Mediterranean accent and an emphasis on fresh local produce, herbs and vegetables grown in the estates gardens and seafood.

Facilities & services: Placed under traditional palapa roofs, the Spa offers a fitness room, a juice bar and spa integrated with hallmarks of modern treatments with an ancient sense of beauty, balance and peace. Close to the resort there are placed some of the Rivieras best nightclubs, all are only 20 minutes away. For an adventure only steps off the hotels beach, there is a reef sanctuary for sea turtles and colorful exotic fish. The resort offers many water amenities such as: diving, fishing and kite-boarding.
