FROM THE METROPOLIS OF THE JUNGLE MALAYSIA OR BORNEO – 13 DAYS

Borneo is the third largest island in the world (after Greenland and New Guinea) and one of the most wild, where nature has not yet been so much affected by man. The island belongs to three countries: Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia. It is covered with rainforest inhabited by many species of animals, the most famous is the orangutan and pygmy elephant. It is in this area that three great cultures have joined together: Chinese, Indian and European, which was established as one – Malay. Therefore, it is an extremely interesting cultural mix. Discover the wild parts of the island, then get to know it’s exuberant character. Among other exotic species are; the rafflesia flower – the largest flower in the world, and wild orangutans, and learn about the culture of this unique place.

Day 1. Arrive in Kuala Lumpur
Upon arrival at the International Airport in Kuala Lumpur you go with a personal driver-guide to a hotel with offers from Luxury Travel. You will be accommodated in a Superior room. The rest of the day dedicated to rest after the journey.

Day 2. Kuala Lumpur
After breakfast enjoy a full day tour of Kuala Lumpur – the capital of Malaysia, it is currently one of the fastest growing cities in Southeast Asia. You will visit the National Mosque, Tugu Negara, which is a monument to those fallen in the battles for independence of Malaysia, and the historic railway station, which is a stunning example of Muslim architecture. Another point of interest is certainly the Royal Palace, Cricket Club tudor style, Thean Hou – a six-level beautiful temple, one of the biggest in this part of Asia.

Day 3. Kuala Lumpur – Kuching
After breakfast, drive to the airport and flight to Kuching. After landing at the airport you will meet with our representative who will take you on a brief tour of Kuching – one of the most interesting and most pleasant places in Borneo. Here you can enjoy, among other things: the majestic clock tower constructed in 1883, a statue of Charles Brooke – the former ruler of Sarawak, Tua Pek Kong – the oldest Chinese temple, a beautiful part of the city – Waterfront and cat statue – the symbol of the city. The last points of the trip will be: the Sarawak Museum and the local bazaar.
Late in the afternoon, drive to a luxury hotel and accommodation.

Day 4. Kuching
Breakfast at the hotel. This is day is a planned trip to Bako National Park, where you ride by sailboat. The park is located on a small peninsula, located about 1.5 hours drive from Kuching by car and boat. Seven distinct rainforest ecosystems makes the park a host to a huge number of plant and animal species. Bako’s most famous residents are bizarre proboscis monkeys – known as the Polish nosaczami, due to the characteristic long nose. Here you will meet also happy lutung monkeys with very long tails, macaques, flying squirrels, monitor lizards and hundreds of different species of birds. Trip will be a great attraction for lovers of flora, because they will have the opportunity to see the mangroves, figs and carnivorous plants. Selected trails in the jungle will lead you to the wild, secluded beaches with a beautiful coastline, for example. The sea Stacked with preserved outliers rock in the middle of the sea.
After the tour you will return to your hotel in Kuching.

Day 5. Kuching / Lemanak
After breakfast drive to Lemanak situated about 225 km. from Kuching. Along the way you will have the opportunity to look at the lives of the inhabitants of the island. Itinerary leads through plantations and villages, with a short stop for lunch. Then a planned short boat ride on the river Lemanak to the town, where you will receive a great welcome by the local community. Spend a night in a longhouse, a long house situated on stilts on the water. In the evening, enjoy dinner and a meeting with the inhabitants of Borneo.

Day 6. Lemanak / Batang Ai
After breakfast, take a walk through the jungle. Upon return, transportation to the hotel, where you will be staying for 2 nights. Along the way, lunch, dinner on your own.

Day 7. Batang Ai
After breakfast, a boat trip up the river, where you can admire the waterfalls. This tour is dependent on weather conditions and water levels of the river. You can also enjoy a walk around the neighborhood and dinner in a traditional style steamed on bamboo tubes, simmered. Dinner on your own. In the evening back to the hotel.

Day 8. Batang Ai / Kota Kinabalu
After breakfast drive to Kuching, and then fly to Kota Kinabalu, where you will be staying in a luxury hotel located in the city center. It is worth taking a walk around the city and shopping. The rest of the day is at your disposal.

Day 9. Kota Kinabalu / Sandakan / Abai
After breakfast, drive to the airport and flight to Sandakan – a mandatory destination for all who love nature. You will visit the orangutan rehabilitation center. Its mission is to help these animals to again be able to live in freedom. Then cruise (about an hour) to Kinabatangan, where you will find local attractions: visiting villages, planting trees and evening boat ride in search of skylights. Lunch and dinner in the village. Overnight at the hotel with the offer from Luxury Travel.

Day 10. Abai / Sukau
Early morning hike into the forest to observe wildlife. Back for breakfast, after which you will move up river to Sukau (about an hour by boat). Along the way you will see endemic species of monkeys. In the evening, hotel accommodation. Lunch and dinner during the tour.

Day 11. Sukau / Danum Valley
After breakfast drive to Lahad Datu, which will last about 3 hours, and then continue your journey – to the Danum Valley (about 2.5 hours) covered with virgin jungle. Lunch during the trip. In the evening, relax at the hotel, dinner and a movie about nature that you will enjoy while on safari. 2 nights accommodation in another hotel.

Day 12. Danum Valley
Even before breakfast we invite you to take the exit on the ropes over the valley, which will provide you with a lot of adrenaline! After breakfast excursion to a beautiful viewpoint at the cliff. Back to the hotel for dinner. After dinner, free time.

Day 13. Danum Valley / Lahad Datu / Kuala Lumpur
After breakfast, return to Lahad Datu and flight to Kuala Lumpur.
